I was recently introduced to Crossfit and together with a small group of like-minded friends have "enjoyed" our session every Thursday morning putting our bodies through barriers like never before We have learnt new skills, challenged ourselves and what is nice, as a group moved each other along with plenty of encouragement and comradery. Not to mention talking about the pain for the next few days!
With a crossfit competition this weekend, I was very curious to see how the real crossfitters do it and what limits the human body is pushed to.
The WOD (Workouts of the Day) I saw was burpees and deadlifts moving up a ladder with increasing weights. There sure was plenty of muscle power out there today and the WOD not for the fainthearted!
