Discovering not all beaches are warm with the Micallefs!

We're safely back in Brunei now and think we are over the jetlag. Time now to update the blog!

Whilst enjoying Ballybunion, we were joined by our good friends Rob and Claire Micallef and their two wonderful children Luke and Elsa. The last time we met the Micallef family was two years ago and this time the kids hit it off immediately. After a big lunch of fish and chips they couldn't resist dipping their toes into the Atlantic. The McCarthy kids got a shock from the cold but not as big as the shock I got when they did not stop there!!! A few minutes after the initial dip we had a bunch of very very wet and cold children - mental note...never take kids to a cold beach without clothes and towels!

All dry and warm again in the cosy caravan! Well done to Rob for providing the entertainment - another lesson I learnt that afternoon. To the Micallef family - we really enjoyed our time together and can't wait to see you again next year. Iman, Jack and Ayden are still talking about Luke and Elsa.
