At the end of the day

Today was our last open day to visitors and it was a bit on the quiet side which was a nice change from the first two days. The children got a chance to sit still and out came the PSPs!
Ayden was still very much into the food and for the first time sat on his little table and tucked in.
As like previous Hari Raya's it has been a great three days receiving and entertaining guests. It's a great time to see family, friends and associates and catch up - many of whom we only see once a year. There are also faces we don't recognise but we welcome all the same, young and old, afterall it is the time to give. I don't have figures and won't even attempt to guesstimate the number of teas and coffees served but on estimate 600 green packets were given out and that's to children so that gives an idea of the traffic we had over the three days.
